We Provide
-
Amputee Peer Counselling
This involves professional training programs for amputees who can become Certified Amputee Peer-Counsellor (APC). The work of the amputee peer counsellor is to provide counselling or emotional support to individuals who have been scheduled to undergo a form of amputation. In reality, the APC journeys with the yet-to-be amputee through the amputation period, the prosthetic rehabilitation process and the community reintegration stage. The goal of the APC is to help the individual get back into society with a better mindset and with mind tools to handle any form of stigmatization at the personal, family and community levels.

Community Amputee Education
Education is crucial for rehabilitation after the trauma of losing a limb, both for the amputee and for their community to promote inclusivity.

Economic Empowerment
Economic empowerment is necessary for reintegrating people who have lost a limb back into society. We provide skill training programs and job recommendations to facilitate this.
