Smiles of Hope is a registered NGO in Ghana dedicated to empowering amputees through innovative psychosocial rehabilitation programs, advocacy, and amputee-peer community support. We seek a passionate and experienced Fundraiser to join our team and help us amplify our impact. This position is Contract-based.

Key Responsibilities

● Proposal Writing: Write proposals to potential donor organisations.

● Strategic Planning: Develop and execute effective fundraising strategies to achieve financial goals.

● Donor Engagement: Cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic organisations.

● Campaign Management: Design, organise and manage effective fundraising campaigns both online and in-person.

● Grant Applications: Identify and apply for relevant grants and funding opportunities.

● Reporting: Track fundraising efforts and prepare reports to measure success and ensure transparency.

Qualifications

● Proven proposal writing skills

● Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or business development (preferably in the non-profit sector).

● Strong networking and interpersonal skills.

● Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

● Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging donors.

●  Familiarity with fundraising software and platforms is a plus.
